Little Blue Kitten was created in 2010, but for as long as I can remember I have always been crafty and have a very special place in my heart for all art, crafts, and tinkering.

As a happily married mum of 2, my days are very busy, but over the last few years, I have always found time to pick up my crochet hook or indulge in something creative.

The mindfulness and cognitive benefits that crochet offers, not only reduce my stress and anxiety levels in my fast-paced life but create something beautifully unique that can be shared with other people.  I can take some yarn and a hook anywhere with me and the joy of transformation with every single stitch makes me very happy.

Little Blue Kitten is not just about crochet as I upcycle old unloved treasures and explore mixed media art. My tinkering and making something from nothing brings smiles to other people’s faces.
Making personalized commissions that can be treasured for years makes me very proud as trust in my abilities is priceless.

Living on the edge of Yorkshire Dales in Skipton gives me unique access to nature, the beauty of natural scenery, and lots of animals which are the inspiration for some of my creations.
